CPS students received a free family voucher that MSI provided to each Chicago Public Schools student at the start of the school year. Can’t find your voucher? This Monday only, show proof of city residency and receive the CPS voucher offer: up to three free Museum Entry tickets (must include one Adult and one Child).
Save $10 on parking (and use your free Museum Entry CPS voucher)
Chicago students and their families who visit MSI this Monday can save $10 on parking in our convenient underground garage. Parties with at least one adult Chicago resident accompanying school-age children can receive the discount by showing proof of city residency at Museum ticket counters.
No need to pay for all the extras
The “free” exhibits are excellent and interesting and would take you several days to get through. The MSI has over 400,000 square feet of exhibit space so it isn’t possible to see everything in one day. You should plan ahead and decide what you want to cover.
Other info:
- There’s only one set of elevators to move between floors located next to the “red stairs” so plan on taking a lot of stairs.
- There’s an escalator between Main Level 2 and Balcony Level 3 located on the west side of the floors.
- The P3 parking level is on the same level as ticket sales.
- The Zephyr is located behind the ticket counter in the entry hall.
- You can purchase food or bring your own in discretely.
- There are designated eating areas.
