Celebrate the holiday season in the old school style with classic Christmas movies and a fun-filled sing-along. One of Chicago’s most unique holiday traditions is enjoying classic Hollywood holiday movies, singing along to the beloved tunes and accompanying a live organist to sing Christmas carols during the annual Music Box Christmas Sing-A-Long and Double Feature in the Lakeview neighborhood through December 24, 2025.

Join in the old-fashioned joy of the 42nd annual Music Box Theatre holiday tradition. Santa greets visitors and the theater’s authentic silent movie organ is played as the lyrics for popular Christmas tunes are projected across the screen for everyone to sing along.
The beloved classic holiday films. “White Christmas” and “It’s A Wonderful Life” are screened Thursday through Sunday until December 24. Each movie includes a 25-minute pre-show featuring Christmas carols with Santa and a short holiday cartoon, so be sure to arrive on time. Check out the movie schedule here.

Tickets are $17 for a single feature and $10 for kids under $13. Save $9 by opting for the double feature for $25 and $15 for kids. Don’t miss the special holiday cocktails during the screenings, the “White Christmas” with RumChata, “It’s a Wonderful Mulled Wine” and “Boozy Hot Cocoa. The film series runs at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport.
