Spend a day making art and creating change during an all-day program of creative workshops, discussions and healing during the fifth annual National Day of Racial Healing organized by Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) on January 21, 2025.

Join art-making workshops including painting, music, fashion customization, podcasts and more at a free community arts open house at Little Black Pearl Art & Design Center, in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood at 1060 E. 47th St., from 2-4 pm.
A thought-provoking community panel discussion moderated by NBC reporter Leeann Trotter kicks off from 4 pm until 6 pm. Share your voice about your experiences and hopes.
A special performance, Black Unplugged: A Concert for Peace & Social Justice, tops off the evening with noted jazz and R&B singer Lizz Wright from 7- 9 pm. Tickets for the concert are $50.
