The Hyde Park Art Center unveils the thought-provoking new group art exhibit, “The Language Between Worlds,” from July 16-October 29, 2022. The show examines racial inequality and the systems that help create it in American society.
The show highlights the work of five Black and Brown artists that display the symbols, narrative structures and imagery that reflect the racial inequality embedded within American society. The show displays paintings, textiles and prints that communicate different levels of cultural preservation and protest. The artist’s artworks reflect enlightenment and alternative paths to the country’s current trajectory.
Admission to the Hyde Park Art Center is free and it’s open seven days a week.
