Northerly Island $5 snow trekking

When: January 4, 11, 18, 2020 10AM-2PM.
Where: Northerly Island, 1521 S. Linn White Dr., Call (312) 745-2910. Age Range: Any. Call to confirm. Event subject to change without notice. There must be at least three inches of snow.

Check out snowshoeing and cross country skiing equipment for two hours of snowtrekking on a first-come, first-served basis with a valid I.D. Rental fee $5. If you have your own equipment, it’s free to trek the island.

Get a new perspective of our city’s natural area while circling the Island looking for winter birds, native animals, or enjoy the incredible view of Chicago?s skyline. Participants can enjoy a snowball fight, build a snowman and take a break from the cold weather by warming up inside the field house.
