Enjoy the creative art of origami during a free Origami Open House at Garfield Park Conservatory on Saturday afternoons on November 11 and December 9, 2023.
Children and adults will discover how to transform flat sheets of paper into three-dimensional art forms during these interactive sessions. The Chicago Area Origami Society will demonstrate and guide participants through the fascinating Japanese art form.
Visitors can choose to create flowers, boats, animals, decorative boxes and everything in between, during the open house. The event runs from noon to 3 pm and is free for all but reservations are required.
