Journey back into the opulence of the Gilded Age at Chicago’s own Downton Abbey at the Driehaus Museum, a restored 19th-century mansion just steps from the Magnificent Mile. The museum will host a series of holiday pop-up concerts on December 16, 2023, and December 21, 2023.
Enjoy traditional St. Lucia Day songs with the Swedish American Museum on December 16 from 4-4:45 pm and Kwanzaa songs with the African American Museum of Performings Arts on December 21, from 4-445 pm.
Also browse the “Glass to Garden: Tiffany Inspired Floral Designs ” exhibit featuring elaborate floral design installations and the Museum Trunk Store Design Show, with lots of vintage jewelry and clothing on December 16. The concerts are free with museum admission which is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, children under 12 are free.
