Recycle Your Pumpkin Nov 6

The Pumpkin Smash is an annual effort to divert pumpkins from landfills by providing locations for residents to drop-off pumpkins to be composted. It is held each year the Saturday after Halloween. Don’t Trash it, Smash it! (H/T: Block Club Chicago)
I’m not sure it makes much sense to fire up your internal combustion engine to drive miles to recycle your pumpkin. If you can walk, ride your bike or the bus or happen to be driving by then it probably makes sense.
Remove candles, stickers, glitter, yarn and synthetic decorations from your pumpkins. Face masks and social distancing required.
