Restaurant grocery deals in Chicago.
Many restaurants are selling groceries and I’m searching for the good deals so check back.
Morton’s Wacker Place
You can get delivery through GrubHub, DoorDash, Postmates and UberEats. They are selling seafood, steaks and burgers uncooked. They are also offering their regular menu. What caught my eye are they are selling 10 ounce Prime Burgers with bun for $5.50, fresh potato gnocchi for $6.60lb and dried cavatappi $2.20lb. I used GrubHub and along with some items my neighbor added delivery for a $40 order (plus tax, fee and tip) was 99 cents.
The Palm
The Palm is selling uncooked steaks, seafood as well as their regular menu plus their market (pdf). They only offer pick up so I haven’t ordered from them yet. You have to call to place an order.
Panera
Get free delivery on orders of $15 or more use code FREEDELIVERY. (Reg. $3). My first order included “vine ripened” tomatoes that were meh. The avocados were small but ripe so that’s nice. Tip: put ripe avocados in the fridge. I’ve also ordered their whole milk yogurt which was good.
Their grocery selection is limited to:
Bread
Whole wheat loaf, baguette and bagels.
Produce
Grapes, apples, vine ripened tomatoes, avocados and blueberries.
Dairy
Milk, plain cream cheese, whole milk Greek yogurt.
