The new Italian shop at World Market Lincoln Park introduces authentic Italian flavors and products to Chicago with a free Taste of Italy event on August 18, 2022.
Savor the richness of gourmet Italian brands representing each of Italy’s 20 regions during the Taste of Italy event which runs all day, from 10 am to 7 pm. The festivities kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring chefs and the Italian consulate general, followed by coffee and Italian cookie sampling until noon.
The tasting of Italian pastas, sauces, spreads and desserts starts at 4 pm and features authentic gourmet products from Italy. Traditional recipes and techniques will also be showcased during the Taste of Italy event.
