Send a free care package to US troops. Diageo is offering a free way for you to send four items to US troops paid for by Diageo. Apparently the items are shipped in a Crown Royal bag. Clever marketing and the troops get something from home for free.

Crown Royal has partnered with Packages From Home to offer this service. You select four of the Troops’ most requested and needed items, and Diageo will pay for the items and to ship it overseas. Packages from Home

Packages From Home is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, whose mission is to send care and comfort packages to deployed American military heroes stationed in active duty around the world.

Packages From Home’s primary purpose is to provide food, personal care, and recreational items to deployed American servicemen and women from every branch of the military, at no cost to them, while simultaneously supporting the needs of military working/service dogs and veterans who have returned home. Packages From Home relies mostly on volunteers and donors, as the organization only employs one full-time and two part-time team members on its staff.
