West Fest July 5-7. West Fest is known for its cutting edge music and an emphasis on ‘local,’ from the food to the vendor participants.

When: July 5-7, 2019 Fri. 5-10pm, Sat. and Sun. 12-10pm
Where: West Town, Chicago Ave. between Damen and Paulina
FREE Admission; $5 donation requested. Proceeds benefit local non-profits including the West Town Chicago Chamber of Commerce, Roberto Clemente Community Academy, and Talcott Fine Arts and Museum Academy.

West Fest provides the stage to show why West Town is one of the hottest up-and-coming neighborhoods in the city. West Town’s streets are lined with independent, locally-owned businesses, restaurants, cafes, boutiques and services. Many will be participating in West Fest.

Pet Fest is 12-6pm Saturday and Sunday sponsored by Canine Crews. Pet Fest features a charity dog wash, dog obstacle course, paw painting, pet retail booths, dog caricature artist (3-5pm Saturday), paddling pools and plenty of water; plus various pet related demonstrations throughout the day, pet services booths, local veterinarians and canine therapists. All proceeds benefit Alive Rescue and One Tail at a Time, and goodie bags for those humans whom donate or purchase.

Kid Fest is 12-7pm on Saturday and Sunday and is organized by and benefits Talcott Fine Arts & Museum Academy. Kid Fest takes place on an adjacent street (Wolcott Street) within the fest site and offers quality children and family activities including train rides, bounce houses, an inflatable super slide, pony rides, carnival games, kid friendly vendors, and a kid’s stage with live family friendly music.
