Winterland at Gallagher Way

Dive into a quintessential Chicago holiday experience by skating around the iconic Wrigley Field as well as enjoying live music, holiday decor, classic holiday movies and more at Winterland at Gallagher Way, December 6-21, 2024.

Head to the Wrigleyville neighborhood to celebrate the season with a stroll through Winterland, including the Winter Market and special events like Santa’s Workshop and the Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The daily events also feature carnival rides, games, a miniature train and if you don’t ice skate, you can opt for sliding around the rink in ice bumper cars. Warm up around fire pits and sip festive cocktails at the apres ski pop-up bar, The Lodge.

Free holiday movies including “Elf “and “Home Alone” will be broadcast on the Gallagher Way video board on December 12 and December 19. Craft workshops to create your own holiday wreaths will be available on December 6 and 7.

Admission to Gallagher Way, the winter market and holiday events is free, Tickets for rides and attractions range in price and will be available to purchase on-site.

Winterland hours are 4-9 p.m. Thursday-Friday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sundays.
