The global impact of Chicago’s homegrown house music will take the spotlight during a summer-long celebration of the genre’s 40th anniversary at Navy Pier from May through August 2024.
The festivities kick off with the opening of the Chicago: Home of House Exhibit, which highlights the culture’s history with photos, videos and sound displays and runs from May through October 31, 2024.

Chicago house DJs will mix grooves at the Wave Wall Wax every Saturday from May 25- August 31, 2024. The free outdoor concert series will host Chicago icons like Lori Branch, Jesse De La Pena and more.
The beloved Chicago Summer Fireworks will be set to the rhythms of house music every Saturday at 9 pm, from May 25-August 31, 2024.
Navy Pier will present a Chicago House Music Fest Pre-Party with an exciting lineup of DJs at the Wave Wall Stage on June 1, 2024.
