Belmont Home Decor makes throw pillows, bedding, table runners, and other home decorating items. Almost everything is made from its factory on Belmont near Pulaski in Cragin. The finished items are then sold to decorators, boutiques, and high-end retailers.
In the past, the company held a bi-annual warehouse sale, in which it sold overstock and samples as well as furniture and props used when photographing its catalogues. The business has grown enough to justify a year-round warehouse store. Known as Plankroad Home Factory Outlet, the new store has all the fun stuff of the warehouse sales. 
Lamps ran about $50, bedding between $10 and $50 depending on the item and the size, and throw pillows ranges from silly to gorgeous at prices from $1.00 to $20.00.
Also for sale were multi-yard fabric remnants for about $10 each.
As the store manager gets more items sorted and displayed, a visit to the Plankroad Home Outlet should be even better.
The store is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
