Chicago streets open for outdoor dining – River North. The City will be closing select streets to traffic again this year to enable expanded outdoor dining. Sidewalk patios will be extended into the street and at some locations there will be a few communal tables set up for dining on carry-out.

Dine out on Clark – Closure on Clark from Kinzie (400N) to Grand (550N)

Southbound CTA 22 buses will be rerouted (check the CTA website for updates) via Clark, then west on Grand, South on LaSalle, and east on Wacker to Clark, then resume the normal route on Clark.

Northbound buses are not affected. The northbound 22 bus normally operates on Dearborn in this area so is no affected.

Dates & Times: Clark Street is closed until further notice. Days and times of operation vary by restaurant. You should always call before heading out because a restaurant may not have outdoor dining available due to weather, staffing, etc. Also depending on when you’re going you may want to make a reservation if possible.
