Downtown Chicago rooftops and patios. Well time for glorious outdoor dining and drinking is almost over.  Since we only have a few months of great weather in this city it’s always worth the splurge to drink and/or snack or dine alfresco on a rooftop or patio. 

Most patios and rooftops are open weather permitting.  And now in the Covid days depending on if they have enough staff to operate indoors and outdoors.  Some have retractable roofs as indicated below.
