The largest Latino fest in the country returns to the Pilsen neighborhood on July 31-August 3, 2025, with the highly anticipated Fiesta Del Sol. This year’s festival commemorates 53 years of celebrating Latino art, music, food and traditions with a four-day, family-friendly event.

You’ll be greeted with an explosion of colors, sounds and aromas as soon as you enter Fiesta Del Sol, what started as a block party to celebrate the opening of Benito Juarez High School has evolved into one of Chicago’s biggest free festivals.
Dance to the rhythms of cumbia, banda and norteno music as well as a special House of Sol DJ line-up.
Traditional dishes like tacos, enchiladas and tortas will be on sale as well as paintings, sculptures and arts and crafts. Carnival rides, a soccer tournament and special info areas for college, health and immigration will also be part of the festivities.
Fiesta Del Sol hours are 3-1o pm on Thursday, July 31 and 11-10 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 1-3, 2025. This community celebration is free for all but four-day Mega passes for unlimited carnival rides are available for $65.
