Free Loop mural walk.
Go through alleys and other off-the-beaten-path locations on a self-guided Loop Mural Walk.
Where: Loop
When: Now through September 6, 2021.
This walk features 21 murals by well-known as well as emerging artists. Using a smartphone, choose “The Routes” to follow turn-by-turn directions, or check out “The Murals” option and make your own path. Some of the murals you may already know and others are more obscure, left behind after Chicago Loop Alliance’s popular ACTIVATE alley events.
I’ve only seen a few of these. I’ll probably tackle it over a couple days. There are plenty of places to grab a snack, lunch or a cocktail along the way. Use this mural map. When you clock on the green pins on the map a description of the work comes up with a link to another page that describes the mural.
