Enjoy the global rhythms of reggae, African and Latin music at the 31st annual African/ Caribbean International Festival of Life, July 4-7, 2024. Dive into the music, food and art of different cultures during this beloved event in Washington Park.
The headliners for this year’s fest include iconic R&B groups Rose Royce, the Stylistics, Blue Magic and SLAVE. Jamaican dancehall stars Agent Sasco and Teejay round out the lineup.
The four-day festivities also feature food vendors from cultures around the globe, a children’s pavilion and art and accessories from local and national artisans.
This year’s Festival of Life will be combined with the 42nd annual Chicago Music Awards on July 5, noon- 10 p.m. in the DuSable Museum garden in Washington Park. The event celebrates Chicago’s local musicians and history.
The International Festival of Life runs from noon to 10 pm each day and general admission is $35. Snag discount $20 tickets before July 4 here. Children 12 and under get free admission.
