Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade
When: Sunday, February 18, 2024, The parade will kick off at 1:00 p.m.
Where: In the Chinatown neighborhood, at 24th Street and Wentworth Avenue. The procession will head north up Wentworth to Cermak Road and feature marching bands, colorful floats, and traditional lion dances.
Argyle Lunar New Year Celebration
When: Saturday, February 17, 2024, 1 pm
Where: In the Uptown neighborhood, at Argyle and Winthrop, the parade starts at 1:00 pm.
The annual Argyle Lunar New Year Parade has been an anticipated event for over 40 years. The event features processions from over 20 community groups, lion dances, and more. This year’s parade also includes pop-ups and family-friendly events throughout the day.
