There’s nothing like the creamy goodness of ice cream to make the Summer season that much sweeter. July is National Ice Cream Month and July 17, 2022, marks National Ice Cream Day. Kits containing the cones, ice cream and grocery card for toppings will be available through an online National Ice Cream Day sweepstakes through July 17.
Insomnia Cookies: Insomnia Cookies has launched its own premium ice cream, “Cookies IN Ice Cream.” The company is celebrating the holiday from July 15-17 with a free scoop of ice cream with any in-store or delivery order.
Klondike: Navy Pier will host a special Klondike ice cream truck pop-up giving away free frozen Klondike bars in honor of the brand’s 100th birthday and National Ice Cream day on July 17 from 11 am-7 pm. Fans can also compete in a decade themed “What Would You Do For a Klondike” challenge for a 100th birthday cake made by the Cake Boss Buddy Valastro.
