Free Wildflower Walks at North Pond Nature Sanctuary.
Where: North Pond Nature Sanctuary, 2610 N Cannon Dr. meet at North Pond Restaurant.
When: August 14, 2021. 10AM 45-to-60 minute walks. Registration required. Please contact ahammond@lincolnparkconservancy.org for more information. COTC note: In 2021 they are requesting a donation. Donations are appreciated and are accepted as cash (volunteer guide does not have change) or online via this page or through their website I’ve done this walk and it is excellent.
Join us for free (donations encouraged) guided tours of the beautiful wildflowers around the North Pond Nature Sanctuary. Set against the backdrop of the serene North Pond you’ll enjoy a relaxing walk while learning about the benefits of native wildflowers and how to identify them.
Each month will feature different wildflower species in bloom. These easy 45- to 60-minute walks are geared toward adults and concentrate on selected areas around the pond, starting in front of North Pond Restaurant.
