When: May 11, June 8, July 6, August 3, September 14, October 12, 2019. 10AM 45-to-60 minute walks. Registration required. Please contact ahammond@lincolnparkconservancy.org for more information. COTC note: All the free tickets for the June walk were “Sold out”. I showed up anyway and I was able to attend for free because there were a lot of no shows. If you are a large group you may not be accommodated. YMMV. The walk was excellent.
Join us for free (donations encouraged) guided tours of the beautiful wildflowers around the North Pond Nature Sanctuary. Set against the backdrop of the serene North Pond you’ll enjoy a relaxing walk while learning about the benefits of native wildflowers and how to identify them.
Each month will feature different wildflower species in bloom. These easy 45- to 60-minute walks are geared toward adults and concentrate on selected areas around the pond, starting in front of North Pond Restaurant.
