Explore architectural treasures like the Fine Arts Building, Orchestra Hall, Edgewater Beach Apartments, and Avalon Regal Theater during the Open House. This year, the event features themed itineraries, including “Urban Architecture.” “Housing Innovation” and “Highlights of the Black Metropolis” so that visitors can explore sites that connect with specific topics.

On October 18, a series of live events, including “Art in the Garden” and “Behind the Scenes Architecture at Harold Washington Library Center,” unfold throughout the day at different sites.
Admission is free for all of the sites but admission is on a first come first served basis so arrive early to make sure you get into your selected landmarks.
