Prepare to have petrified fun with a showcase of horror film oddities with the theme of Howl-O Rama, showcasing werewolf movies. The series opens with “Deadtime Stories” on October 10 and “The Wolf Guy” on October 11. These deep-cut werewolf movies reimagine children’s stories for an adult audience.
Arrive early to participate in the trivia getaways, where your knowledge of horror films might win prizes. The fest includes ghoulish goodies like free, limited edition pinback buttons with each ticket and giveaways.
Tickets for the movies are $13 each. and the fest runs from 11:45-2 pm each day at the Music Box Theatre at 3733 N. Southport. Advance purchase is recommended because tickets are likely to sell out by the day of the fest.
