The legendary summer food festival that spawned dozens of similar events across the city, the Taste of Chicago, returns to Grant Park for a showcase of Chicago’s culinary diversity, on September 8-10, 2023.
After a series of neighborhood food pop-ups, the Taste of Chicago opens in all its flavorful glory with 35 restaurants and 15 food trucks that represent an array of food traditions. Sample a variety of cuisines and treats, including Senegalese, Thai, Mexican and Indian, without having to go to a lot of different restaurants. This year’s fest will not use tickets, all vendors will accept cash or credit cards.
Besides food, the Taste of Chicago will also include free concerts with local musicians and a SummerDance schedule that includes salsa, zouk and Bollywood. The fest runs from noon to 8 pm each day and supplies free admission. Check out the main stage music schedule below.
