Where to dine near the Cadillac Palace Theater. Going to the theater can be expensive and if you want to make an afternoon or evening out of it dining adds to the cost. This part of the Loop is a dead zone at night and on weekends
Pickings are slim in this part of the Loop since almost no one lives over there and it’s dead after 5PM. Also most restaurants are closed on weekends. I try to go to matinees over there on weekends and I usually vacate the area immediately after a show. In a cab/Uber at night or on the bus on LaSalle at Madison during the day. Head east toward the Goodman and Oriental Theaters for more options. Details below.
