2021 update: The following info may not be correct. I haven’t been to any of these places in over a year. And I haven’t been out looking for new deals in over a year. I have deleted all the locations that have closed. I have also started going out again so I will republish this once I have more info. Thank you for your patience.

Doc B’s Fresh Kitchen, 100 E. Walton, 312-626-1300 . Top quality, fresh ingredients. The most expensive item, filet mignon is $33. Most items are around $15 and below. They’re a part of the Ritual app. Get $10 for signing up. They have a great Happy Hour. Gold Coast Happy Hours

Farmer’s Fridge, 7-11 45 E. Chicago Avenue. This is a vending machine that serves fresh salads. Salads range around $9. Don’t be deceived by the size of the containers – the salads are large. Utensils etc. adjacent to the machine.

Gaylord, 100 E. Walton, 312-667-1700. Indian lunch buffet F-Sunday $13.95. Like them on Facebook for discount.

Goddess and the Grocer, 1127 N. State, 312-896-2600. Excellent, large sandwiches and salads around $10. They’re a part of the Ritual app. Get $10 for signing up.

Hendrickx Belgian Bread Crafter, 100 East Walton Street (enter at condominium entrance), 312-649-6717. European-style bakery “hidden” on the ground floor condo building offers reasonably priced soups, salads, sandwiches and baked goods. They’re a part of the Ritual app. Get $10 for signing up.

L’Appetito, 30 E. Huron, 312-787-9881. Italian deli. Breakfast options around $6, lunch offers cold and grilled sandwiches, soups and salads and pizza squares. Everything is under $8. They’re a part of the Ritual app. Get $10 for signing up.

Lou Malnati’s, 1120 North State Street, (312) 725-7777. Delicious thin crust pies and the Malnati salad.

The Original Pancake House, 22 East Bellevue Place, 312-642-7917. Cheap breakfast all day long. Apple Pancake!
