Eataly Saletember Sale.
I love Eataly but prices can be steep. Pre-covid, if I was going to dine there or just walking by I’d look around for sale items which are sometimes placed directly across from the main entrance or on the 2nd floor on a display next to the elevators.
Now Eataly’s “Saletember” sale is back again this year. Each week throughout the sale they’ll offer select items at up to 50% off. This is the time of the year to stock up on any products that you like that are on sale or to try new products at a discount. Check here every week for new sale items.
The regular price of many items at Eataly is so high that it’s really not a deal until they’re discounted 30% or more so you have to know your prices or look them up on your phone. I rarely buy anything from Two Yachts/No income tax Bezos so I don’t compare their prices.
When: September 2 through October 3, 2021
Where: 43 East Ohio Street, 312-521-8700.
Pick up a list of sale items at the 1st floor information desk to the left of the entrance. Or check here. Different items will be on sale each week. Limited to three items per customer, while supplies last. COTC note: There don’t seem to be any quantity limits in 2021.
I didn’t see much I was interested in. I was hoping to restock the excellent Italian brand pasta Rigarosa, which in prior years was 50% off, but this year they only offer the penne and bucatini for 39% off. September 13-19 they will have Grana Padano for 30% off. Trader Joe’s is aged 18 months and is $12 a pound so they’ll have to beat that price. September 20-26 they’ll have select domestic cheeses at 25% off and September 27-October 3 select fresh cheese 30% off so if I’m in the area I may check those out.
POP-UP SALE: 50% off LOACKER thru September 12

The other weekly pop-up sales aren’t online this year so here they are:
