Since 1974, jazz fans from all over the globe have flocked to Chicago for the annual Chicago Jazz Festival, which showcases jazz legends as well as up-and-coming musicians. This year’s four-day festival will run from September 1-4, 2022.
Celebrate jazz in all its forms in Millennium Park, Chicago Cultural Center and Maxwell Street Market, as well as neighborhood venues during this beloved Labor Day weekend tradition.
The official Chicago Jazz Fest kick-off unfolds on September 1, 2022, at the Chicago Cultural Center from 11 am-4:30 pm, with jazz documentaries and panel discussions as well as performances. The festivities continue at Millennium Park at the Jay Pritzker Pavillion from 6:30 to 9 pm. Check out the schedule here.
