The ultimate Chicago Halloween celebration kicks off with the 26th Annual Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade and costume contest on October 31, 2024.

Throw together your most creative, witty costume for the dramatic spectacle of the Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade.  Prepare to see creatures, characters and statements that you’ve never imagined at this legendary holiday event.

The parade includes musical performances, dancing and all sorts of revelry. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs through 10 p.m. through the Lakeview neighborhood.

The parade will feature entertainment on the Good Bus Sound Stage including Chicago Full Moon Jam fire dancers, Lakeside Pride Marching Band and the Chicago Spirit Brigade Pep Squad.

Register and wear a Halloween costume to join the parade or watch the revelry and mayhem from the sidewalk.
