MSI After Hours

When: May-Dec 2019 from 7 to 11 p.m.
Where: Museum of Science and Industry, 5700 South Lake Shore Drive. Admission is $30. Tickets include free parking, a complimentary drink, light bites and access to exhibits.. A cash bar will also be available.

The MSI offers an after hours event periodically similar to the Adler Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium. Regular ticket prices.

MSI After Hours: Naughty or Nice Friday, December 6 at 7 p.m.-11p.m. (21+)

Secure your spot on the naughty or nice list at the ultimate Christmas party. Warm up with festive beverages while exploring more than 50 trees and displays that feature new decorations for our annual Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light exhibits. Take photos of handmade ornaments from cultures around the world, watch snow fall indoors, and snap a selfie with Santa and our dazzling Grand Tree. Sing “carol-oke” in the Giant Dome Theater.

Coal Mine Exhibit DURATION: 30 MIN. ADULTS: $12, CHILDREN: $9. NO STROLLERS. NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE.

The Museum’s very first exhibit has been a guest favorite ever since. Descend into a “working” coal mine on an engaging tour of mining methods and machinery through the years. **Not accessible to strollers, Segways or wheelchairs.
