Thank you for all of your valuable information. Just a comment about Navy Pier. I couldn’t agree with you more. Locals (I’m about 5 blocks from NP) would’t got there. However, since the remodel I have to admit I find myself walking to the Pier for many activities not the least just a nice walk on a warm evening to take in the lights of the city. It’s really gorgeous. The walking area is much wider and not congested. Not tacky and trashy like before. I’m really impressed and I think you wouldn’t be disappointed to give this area another chance.

I actually go to Navy Pier regularly also. The Pier needs to have a “Locals Night” with locals discounts to get everyone else to try it out now that they’ve remodeled!

The Pride Fest schedule looks great! Thank you.
But I didn’t notice any hotels near Navy Pier offering Pride Fest packages/discounts for a staycation. Which means someone missed a marketing opportunity for NP, local hotels, restaurants, etc.

Navy Pier has a new hotel called Sable at Navy Pier. It’s a Hilton. You could try calling to see if they have a deal. I stayed there in May before the pier fully reopened so the rates were super low. It’s really nice. Another option is the Hyatt Place River North or the Aloft River North (Marriott). You can hop on the Grand bus #65 straight to the Pier. If you aren’t a member of Hilton, Hyatt or Marriott rewards join for free and you automatically get a member discount. Good luck!
